At SDL Pellets we pride ourselves in having the best wood pellets on the market. Notably, all our pellets are 6mm ENplus A1 Wood Fuel Pellets and, furthermore, they are proudly made in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire. Our skilled team has been producing the best quality wood pellets since 2016. As a result, we are now producing up to 60,000 tonnes per year. The pellet mill is powered by green energy from our CHP biomass boiler. We have a zero-waste policy and ensure 100% of all harvested trees get utilised. Furthermore, the biomass boiler is designed to run on low quality wood that can’t be used by our sawmill, such as brash from our recycling centres.

What are our biomass wood pellets made from?

Our pellets are made from by-products from our SDL Sawmill, which uses 100% British softwood. Softwood compared to hardwood ensures longer burn times, higher heat output, and ultimately, a warmer home or business. To find out more about the quality of our wood pellets, read our blog here. All the wood we use is harvested by our team from FSC-managed forests. This means the wood comes from sustainable sources and well-managed woodlands, compliant with our sustainable forestry practices. By recycling all our by-products, it means nothing is wasted. Furthermore, it means that no trees were cut down with the intention of producing your pellets. Delivery Options

We offer a range of delivery options from palletised wood pellets to blown deliveries. For pallet deliveries they come in sizes of half, ¾ and full pallets. These are ideal for domestic and commercial use to keep your home or business warm.

If you need larger amounts of pellets, blown deliveries are ideal and cover orders of 3-26 tonnes. We have our own fleet of blower lorries and an experienced team who can deliver straight into your store. Furthermore, the team are well experienced in hard-to-reach or restricted-access properties and businesses for blown and pallet deliveries.

Christmas Delivery Schedule:

• Free Delivery Before Christmas: Place your order by Noon 16th December to ensure free delivery before Christmas.
• Express Delivery Cut-Off: Last orders for express delivery must be placed by 20th December Noon.
• Haulage Schedule: Hauliers are closed from 24th to 26th December, so no pallet orders will be processed between 23rd and 27th December.
• Office Closures: Our office will be closed from 24th to 26th December and on 1st January. Normal service resumes on 27th December (excluding 1st January).
